    Digital Search Marketing Team Lead | SEO | PPC | Hybrid but remote until September

    We are excited to be working with our client on an exclusive basis to find an outstanding Digital Search Marketing Team Lead to join their fast-paced Digital Marketing Team.  They are growing at a rapid pace, which means their digital team is growing. Their digital channels are responsible for delivering thousands of leads each year, and they want to deliver even more.  They are looking for an all-rounded search marketing expert that truly knows their craft, is highly knowledgeable, enjoys leading a team and thrives in a fast-paced lead generation environment. Their Search Marketing Team Lead is responsible for the management and lead generation performance of PPC, SEO, Display and Capterra across the full suite of their products and solutions. You will lead and line manage a team of PPC and SEO executives to work towards achieving their digital marketing objectives and overall marketing targets. Your role will cover both paid and organic search marketing which means they are looking for someone that has in-depth and demonstrable experience with pay per click advertising, display, and remarketing; with sound SEO knowledge and experience to underpin this.

    Reporting into their Digital Marketing Manager, the Role & Key responsibilities will consist of: –

    • Oversee and manage the day to day running and performance of their search marketing and paid advertising channels to include Google, Microsoft, and Capterra
    • Responsible for achieving monthly and annual lead generation channel targets across PPC, SEO and Capterra
    • Day to day line management of the PPC and SEO executives to coach and develop them within their role, the team and the business
    • Be a role model to both your team and other colleagues around the business; achieving performance and showcasing their values
    • Create and deliver the search marketing strategy for both paid and organic across our products and solutions to help them achieve our marketing and revenue goals
    • Create and deliver effective paid search advertising and remarketing campaigns that are continuously optimised to deliver against their target of quality marketing leads to the sales business
    • Regular monitoring and analysis of all channels’ performance based on conversions to marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and conversions to Opportunities (Opps) and taking action with the team where necessary to continuously improve performance
    • Able to brief, manage, and coordinate search marketing agencies and stakeholders to complete tasks and deliver results against targets set
    • Plan and implement effective bid strategies and tactics across our paid ad groups and campaigns to ensure an always-on approach; reacting where necessary to increase leads
    • Oversee and supervise the SEO audits across technical, content and authority making sure there is alignment to our strategy and goals, clear objectives to achieve; as well as ensuring recommendations and actions are fully implemented to the deadlines set
    • Review, report on, and present search marketing performance to the wider business and senior stakeholders where required
    • Work together with other members of the digital team from content through to web design, to deliver optimised onsite content and pages that support PPC, SEO and CRO activities.

     

     

     

     

     

    Knowledge & Experience

    Essential

    • Data-driven, solutions-focused and collaborative individual, with at least 5 years’ experience working in paid search marketing, previous line management experience, with demonstrable experience of leading, motivating and coaching a team
    • Extensive experience and track record in driving successful paid advertising campaigns
    • Demonstrable lead generation experience with examples of results achieved
    • In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Google Display Network, Microsoft Ads, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Strong data analytics skills with a keen eye for harnessing data, extracting insights, and finding opportunities to improve performance
    • Good sound knowledge of SEO and its intricacies
    • Able to manage and work with external search marketing agencies and stakeholders
    • Excellent and concise copywriting skills, with the ability to talk about solutions in lots of different ways
    • Keep up to date with the latest in digital trends and marketing – with a keen eye on the paid search and SEO landscape and how it’s evolving

    Desirable

    • Previous B2B marketing experience |Organic Search Expert
    • Proficient User of Salesforce |Experience using marketing automation platforms (preferably Pardot) |Experience of Programmatic Advertising
    • Previous experience of third-party channels i.e., Capterra
