Global Events Manager | Technology | IoT | Industry 4.0

The role

The company is going through exciting growth globally and due to this they are now seeking a really driven and insightful Global Events Manager to drive their events worldwide.  This is a really exciting opportunity to travel the world and to take your career to the next level within an exciting new technology sector.

Reporting into The Chief Marketing Officer, the Global Events Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and delivering the global events strategy and programme, in collaboration with the CMO and CRO, as they rapidly scale their business and build their global brand in their key verticals.

Main Duties

  • Lead the global events strategy
  • Implement, manage and deliver the full lifecycle of the global events programme, including working with all stakeholders
  • Contribute to overall marketing strategy by evaluating global event results against company KPIs

Experience

  • Previous global events and marketing experience within B2B – ideally within enterprise software, tech or manufacturing space
  • A track record of owning and delivering concurrent, multi-day events from strategy to completion
  • With key stakeholders, including the sales and marketing teams and external agencies.
  • Digital marketing including working with a CRM
  • Awareness/knowledge of data protection, ePrivacy regulations within in different countries

Experience with managing budgets

Qualifications  

  • Degree level or equivalent. No formal marketing qualification required; however, the company would support the right candidate through a formal marketing qualification
