Digital Marketing Manager | Cambridge

 

Can you help our client, move their digital marketing to the next level? This innovative world leading company offers bespoke, top-end product development and technology consulting. This is not a volume product business. However they are intent on growth and see digital and direct marketing as a key tool to drive enquiries and interest.

 

They are looking for an experienced, hands-on, digital marketing manager with the vision and skill to help them build on what they have achieved in the past few years, and further develop this in line with their growing business.

The Role

 

As part of the marketing communications team, you will be responsible for further developing digital marketing as a key tool in the marketing mix. The company has made significant progress over the past couple of years, but now want to do more. They are looking for someone capable of both managing they day-to-day digital footprint and capability, as well as help them to develop a digital and direct marketing strategy to take them to the cutting edge of this form of marketing.

 

The role will be supported both by the existing technical digital marketing specialist, as well as the rest of the marketing communications team.

 

The marketing communications group is responsible for the global brand image of the company and all marketing activities that retain their position as a leading supplier of bespoke design and development services. The group has considerable existing skill in areas such as branding, design, events, digital communications, public relations and internal communications.

 

Key Responsibilities will be:

 

  • To develop a company-wide digital strategy that has the buy in and acceptance across a range of important stakeholders across the business
  • Overall management of the companies digital brand
  • Maximise SEO for they diverse range of sales campaigns
  • Create a whole new website experience for visitors
  • Further develop their direct mail capability using one of the latest Marketing Automation platforms (Hubspot), integrated with their CRM platform (Salesforce.com)
  • Help to shape both the message and – working with the design team – produce appealing content for direct mail Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of digital marketing activities deployed in this role
  • Continue to improve the way they engage with social media tools and help them build relevant online communities
  • The successful applicant will need to be a skilled communicator, working with a range of campaign leaders, as well as successfully liaising across the marketing team to ensure that digital and direct are correctly managed across they diverse range of marketing initiatives.

 

About You

 

As well as considerable experience in digital marketing, you will have experience of B2B marketing, ideally working for a company that is a leader in its field. You will be able to demonstrate experience of leading successful digital campaigns in the service sector and be able to demonstrate how you have been able to deliver campaigns that have increased market impact and sales enquiries. You will also be a good team player with excellent communication and have the ability to convincingly influence others.
