Mark leads our people performance practice, having spent over 20 years in senior leadership roles.
As the former operating board member and Retail Director for Sainsbury’s Bank, he understands just what it takes to recruit, retain and get the best from people. Reporting directly to the Bank’s CEO, he recruited a 350-strong sales team from scratch and led a large national team with responsibility for delivering the financial services sales (including regulation and risk) across all 800+ Sainsbury’s stores.
After undertaking his MBA at Cranfield School of Management, he left the bank to take forward his passion for developing people and their performance, and coaching senior leaders. He has authored books on resilience and developing a coaching culture, co-founded a national 2012 Olympic linked charity, working with Olympians in schools to support well over 150,000 students, built a training company and lead programmes on coaching, leadership, resilience, performance management, employee wellbeing and for women leaders.
